An elderly Bulgarian man will head this summer on a bicycling journey around the world.
Plamak Zanev, who is the only Bulgarian who has traveled the whole of Europe on a bike for two years, will start his global adventure in August.
In two years he plans to tour Greece, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, South Africa, India, Thailand, Burma, Indonesia, Australia, South America and then return to Europe.
Zanev is the father if three children.
He speaks Esperanto, English, French, German and Spanish, the state news agency in Bulgaria said.
