The man who shot three teenage boys in Sofia Wednesday night has been arrested, Interior Minister Rumen Petkov has said.
22-year-old Nikola Yurukov has quite a long list of previous offences, including thefts and robberies.
Despite preliminary reports that all kids were safe it turns out that the youngest of the three -14-year-old Simeon Andonov is currently in critical situation and his life is still in danger. He has suffered three shots and has internal injuries as well. The other two boys - Anton Dilov, 15, and Evgeni Kotsev, who is 16, have both been shot once and have been stabilized.
The perpetrator used a 9-milimeter gun and fired it 5 times at the three teenagers, who were just taking off in a car after a quarrel. The incident took place in Sofia's Fondovi Zhilishta neighborhood.
Earlier on Thursday the police circulated Yurukov's photo but didn't mention the exact crime he was wanted for.
