Lawyer Helped Baby-Trafficking Bulgarians in Greece

Ten people, including a lawyer, have been questioned by the Greek police after Monday's arrest five Bulgarians dealing with babies traffic, local media informs.

Reports claim that the Bulgarian mother of the 20-days old baby girl that was to be sold and another three Bulgarians and a Greek man met with a lawyer, who paid them EUR 9,000 for the baby.

The lawyers then met with the Greek couple that "bought" the baby.
The Greek police have later arrested another Bulgarian mother of a baby boy, who was also to be sold. No further details were revealed on that case.

In the past couple of months Greek police managed to strike several crushing blows to the baby-trafficking industry in the country, arresting about a dozen culprits.
