Politics | January 22, 2002, Tuesday // 00:00

The National Trilateral Cooperation Council adopted an Action Plan on Employment at the meeting January 22. The possibility of a future updating of the plan is not ruled out because of the dynamic changes the country goes through, representatives of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria said. According to Trade Union “Podkrepa” the lack of observance is one of the disadvantages in the plan. The monthly payment in Fund Professional Qualification and Unemployment will be reduced, it transpired after the Council’s meeting. The social partners failed to reach an agreement on the order for a 5% rise in the budget salaries and the draft order for calculating the salaries at trading companies with a 50% state-owned stake.
