Italian Audience Thrilled by Bulgarian Movie

Much appraised Bulgarian movie Stolen Eyes has won the recognition of Italian audience as well, being awarded with the Silver Rose prize.

The film co-produced by Bulgaria and Turkey pleased mostly the Italians who watched it at the Bergamo film festival, Italy.

The movie directed by Radoslav Spasov has been accredited at more than 20 prestigious festivals in London, Gothenburg, Karlovy Vary, Montreal, Pal Springs, Moscow, etc.

The film is planned for screening in festivals in Cleveland (USA), Bombay (India) and Osaka (Japan).

The key female in the production - Bulgarian actress Vessela Kazakova - glowed over this year's Berlinale fest. She was appraised with the young talent award of the Studio Hamburg Shooting Stars.

The movie tells the touchy story of precipitous love between a Bulgarian woman and a Muslim soldier.
