Furious Mother Beats Up Teacher in Bulgaria

A 27-year-old mother was charged with assault after beating up an arts teacher in Stara Zagora in eastern Bulgaria.

The mother was furious with the teacher, because he had slapped her son the on March 2. Both student and teacher were from the nearby village of Zmeevo and had to commute to school. While in the bus the third-grader teased the teacher regarding his sexual orientation. The indignant educator slapped his young offender.

When the boy's mother found out about the slap, she stormed the school and single-handedly beat up the arts teacher in front of all his colleagues.

The assaulted teacher is a long-time professional, and the young boy wasn't in his class, school authorities explained. They also said that the third-grader was a troublemaker with quite a temper.

Court decided to fine the vengeful mother.
