Son of Bulgarian Ambassador Jailed for Drugs

The son of Sofia's ambassador to Spain was sentenced Monday to four years for marijuana.
Nikolay Takev, son of ambassador Vasiliy Takev, and a fellow were arrested in 2003.
Policemen found in their car about 1.6 kilos of dried cannabis. Takev claimed he had nothing to do with the illegal drugs, but his fingerprints were found on the packages, media revealed back then.
Takev, 25, and his friend Krassimir Tsankov, 28, have fifteen days to appeal against the verdict.
