The campaign for selecting Miss Bulgaria 2006 has flagged a patriotic message.

The organizers of the annual pageant show from Visages will mark the March 3 national holiday by hoisting the Bulgarian flag at key sites in Sofia.

Ladies crowned Miss Bulgaria in the last several years will lead the campaign.

Flags will be granted to 20 institutions, including the National Library, the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The patriotic move also aims to promote the Miss Bulgaria 2006 campaign, which culminates later in March.

The Visages model agency will hold its final casting for young wannabes on March 11 and 12.
