PM GRANTED MICROCREDITS AIMING TO CREATE NEW JOBS

Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg gave contracts to three companies, which were granted a BGN 15,000 credit from the Microcrediting Fund, aiming to create new jobs. Two of the companies are well-known on the Bulgarian market. “Lyuba-briz” will invest the credit in enlarging a holiday house, while Satimex will develop a program for production of juice concentrate. Unemployment rate decreased by 0,6% over 2000, the Social Ministry reported. The microcrediting fund was founded in the autumn last year, while first credits were granted at the beginning of 2001. Five projects have been approved for microcredits granting.
