The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) has pressed claims against Bulgarian short-track star Evgeniya Radanova, accusing her of impeding their athlete Anouk Leblanc-Boucher.

Vasilena Matakieva, spokeswoman for the Bulgarian Olympic Committee commented from Turin the COC's attempt to disqualify Bulgaria's star for SNA Editor Petya Sabinova.

Q: In connection with the case of Evgeniya Radanova, have you received any official letter from the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC)?

A: An official letter from the COC? No, there's no such thing.

Q: Do the Canadians stand a chance in the arbitrary court?

A: No, they don't. Even if there is such a foul, as far as I am aware of the short track rules, if the finish line referee has permitted it, there is no room to worry. Especially since he has decided that this is the final position, and there is no opposing decision on the spot.

Q: What do you think of the COC's move?

A: I think that they unnecessary blow things out of proportion. I assume that you know that one of the Canadian short track athletes is third and the other is first in the Final B, and they are hoping to make them silver and bronze winners.
