King Simeon II made his second address to Bulgarian people today. The first one was on April 6, when he declared his intentions to enter into political race. In his address King Simeon II emphasized on economic, financial and social stability in the next government mandate. New economic policy will focus on the improvement of the living standard and incomes of Bulgarian people. Microcrediting for SMEs and a special program for development of Thrace region, were among the priorities of the king`s economic policy.
European healthcare, sport and education level, computerization, pension rise, customs, crime and corruption control, tax reduction, alleviation of permission and license regimes, EU orientation, were stressed in king`s address. Bulgarian capital abroad to be returned, king Simeon II said. He appealed for new moral in business and politics and support of Bulgarian people on June 17. King Simeon II didn’t declare intentions to run for premier, as media broadly discussed this days.
