TELECOM TO RAISE INTRACITY PHONE CALLS PRICES, REDUCE LONG-DISTANCE

The Bulgarian telecommunications Company announced that it plans to raise intracity phone tariffs while lowering tariffs for long-distance calls, starting from February. That measure is part of the strategy for boosting the company’s competitiveness before the planned privatization. Intracity tariffs will most probably rise by 17% - 0,082 per minute, VAT included. Tariffs for long-distance calls will be cut from 17 to 50% depending on the destination.
