MOBICOM SUBSCRIBERS TO PAY BILLS BY MOBILE PHONE

Mobicom, Bulgaria’ s only analogue mobile phone operator already has a new option for its subscribers, which enables them to pay bills by issuing orders via their cell phones to several local banks. These banks are First Investment Bank, Roseximbank, Bulgaria Invest bank, Raiffeisen bank, Hebrosbank, Biochim bank and Municipal bank. In order to avail themselves of the new service, called MobyPay, subscribers just have to fill an ePayVoice registration form. Mobicom has an estimated 175,000 subscribers in Bulgaria. Britain’s Cable & Wireless holds a 49% stake in the company and Bulgarian Telecommunications Company - 39%.
