PRESIDENT-ELECT TO OVERSEE INTERNET COUNCIL FORMATION

President-elect Georgi Parvanov will be in charge of the setting up of an Internet Council, which will manage all problems on the Internet in the country, it transpired after Parvanov’s meeting with the leadership of “Internet Society – Bulgaria” ISOC-BG. A list of members of the Internet Council and its rules are to be presented to the new President before March. The two sides agreed on yet another meeting at the end of February when the Council’s members will be discussed. It is expected that Internet experts, Bulgaria’s friends from all over the world, will join the new formation.
