Bulgaria's Interior Minister Rumen Petkov personally returned a valuable bronze sculpture stolen last weekend from the art collection of renowned Bulgarian painter Svetlin Russev.

"Head" by Anguel Stanev has a price set at 4 000 euros, but with the potential to reach a much higher cost on the international market, media say. It was stolen from the Atelier - Svetlin Russev Collection, where about 400 art works are on display.

Svetlin Russev expressed his gratitude to Minister Petkov for the quick reaction.

The quick solving of the case gives us the confidence that we are achieving real results in crime fight, Minister Petkov commented.
