TRANSIT TRADE ZONE INAUGURATED

Transit Trade Zone in the city of Varna was inagurated by PM Kostov and Foreign Minister Michailova. The trade zone is established as a joint stock company by a decision of Council of Ministers from April this year. Transit Trade Zone is the first one that is going to work under the new Customs Law. The initial investment is BGN 7,2 M and the total value of the project worths BGN 8,6 M. The expectations are investments to be returned in 5-years period. 167 new jobs will be created. Transit Trade Zone will boost the transportation of goods towards Russia, Turkey and Arab countries. Negotiations for establishment of free trade corridor between Varna Transit Trade Zone and free-trade zone in Rousse are under way.
