POLICEMEN OPERATION FOR STOLEN CARS LAUNCHED IN SOFIA DISTRICT TOWN

Police operation for stolen cars started all over the country, initiated by Interior Ministry Chief Secretary Boyko Borisov. Two second-hand car services were closed in the town of Pernik near Sofia because the cars came with no documents. A total of hundred cars have been checked. Policemen checked 6 car bourses, garages and shops for spare parts. Nine limos with no documents were found in an empty warehouse. Initially the operation was prompted by the increase in high-way robberies and started in two other towns - Dupnitsa and Blagoevgrad.
