Children from the Child Parliament at Varna municipality strolled around the city on Saturday to give out smiles to passers-by.

In a campaign running under the motto "Smile, Bulgaria!" the children of Varna strive to make people smile more often and turn their backs to daily problems.

The children and the event's organisers gave out more than 1000 flyers with 101 exemplary thoughts on it urging Bulgarians to smile again and again.

The project - one of four carried out 2003-2006 - was prompted by statistical data revealing that Bulgarians tend to smile even less frequently.
