FOREIGN MINISTER TO MEET EU AND NATO AMBASSADORS IN IRAN

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Passy who is on a three-day official visit to Iran is expected to meet the EU and NATO ambassadors in Teheran. The Bulgarian Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet other Iranian officials. On January 5, Foreign Minister Passy met Iran’s President Mohammad Khatami and his Iranian counterpart Kamal Kharazi. The officials expressed the hope that the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Iran will improve in the near future.
