A famous nightclub in Sofia has decided to ridicule the local elections by organizing a parallel fun campaign.
It kicked off Monday with a parade in front of the Biad club, popular with its folklore atmosphere and live Orient-influenced music.
The Viagra Band and Oriental dancers were "campaigning" in the most fun nightclub challenge, initiated by Biad.
The club also treated participants with kebapcheta - popular Bulgarian oblong rissoles.
While fans of Bulgarian pop-folk music were partying outside the club, preparations for the real elections in the capital are continuing in full speed. There is a record number of 15 candidates for the mayor post, and the winner will be chosen on October 29.
