AMERICAN SOLDIERS LEAVE BURGAS BASE

Part of the contingent of US soldiers and equipment left the military base in the Black Sea coast town of Burgas on December 30. The military equipment was transported from the base on two chartered flights, which departed from the Burgas airport. All cistern planes, which fuel in the air American planes taking part in the Enduring Freedom operation, have left the territory of Bulgaria. The remainder of the aviation equipment, packed in containers, were to be transported on December 31. No more than ten of the American military men working in the Sarafovo base in Burgas are still on the territory of Bulgaria.
