Archaeologists have found in Southern Bulgaria what has been described as a "unique" pagan tomb, with golden and bronze funeral objects.

The find, unearthed in the village of Gledachevo, the district of Radnevo, dates back to the end of the seventh and the beginning of the eighth century.

This is the first mass grave uncovered in Bulgaria from the early Middle Ages, south of the Old Mountain range.
