INSPECTION OF ENTERTAINMENT PLACES STARTS IN THE COUNTRY

At the beginning of Parliament session on December 22 the MPs stood in one-minute silence in memory of the teenagers who died in the accident. Interior Minister Petkanov briefed the MPs on the latest developments. He ordered that inspections of all places of entertainment places start as of December 22 on the territory of the whole country in order to prevent such incident during the coming holidays. Inspections started immediately after the order was issued in Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Veliko Turnovo. The Parliament ratified also an agreement of the Balkan countries governments for economic and technical cooperation in agriculture. The session was the Parliament’s last session for the autumn season. MPs will resume work on January 11, 2002.
