Britons Afraid of Going to Bulgaria

Letters to the Editor | August 1, 2005, Monday // 00:00| Views: | Comments: 0

I don't want to bring my family there as I don't know whether we would get out alive, what with the corrupt legal system and the Police who are their own mafia.

Poor Michael Shields wrong place wrong time, no actually he was in bed at 2am that morning of the crime and was dragged from his bed the next morning and thrown in an Identity Line up, he was the only English boy with all other Bulgarians in the line up.......Great Justice that hey....

Its a shame for Bulgaria as a country because it's not the land it's the corrupt police and courts. And in reply to people who say this case will not affect tourism well your wrong, because my family and I are only one of thousands who will never go to Bulgaria through fear.

The people of England want the real culprit for the horrendous crime on the Barman, and that is the man who has signed a confession admitting his guilt and states he does not even know Michael Shields, he has never met Michael, unfortunately he looks just like Michael Shields.

His name is GRAHAM SANKEY, and we are not proud that he is from Liverpool.
