Russia is developing a project for offering lunar trips at a price of USD 100 million.

Russian space shuttle manufacturer Energia has presented the plans to the Federal Space Agency this week, media reported.

The cosmic trip would start from Kazakhstan on a Soyuz rocket. Then the space tourist would spend a week on the International Space Station (ISS) before travelling around the moon.

Each trip is planned to last for two weeks.

The State Agency has begun to study the project's technical achievability, as well as the possible risks, Chief Nikolay Moiseyev has told a news conference Tuesday.
