Hours before setting on their Eurovision trip to fame, the boys from Kaffe saw a hearty farewell event in Sofia attended by numerous friends, fans, life and showbiz celebrities and music producers.

Foreign Minister Solomon Passy also dropped in there to wish the six-talent band good luck in the hard role to represent Bulgaria for the first time at the popular European festival. The semi-finals of Eurovision 2005, celebrating half centenary, will take place May 19 in Kiev.

The English-versed song "Lorraine", with which Kaffe will represent Bulgaria in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, has already been performed at nine concerts across Europe where thousands of fans heard live from the Bulgarian marvels.

Kaffe's Orlin Pavlov (vocals), Georgi Yanev (guitar), Milen Kukosharov (keyboard), Valery Tzenkov (drums), Martin Tashev (trumpet) and Veselin Veselinov-Eko (bass guitar) will leave for Ukrainian capital on Thursday.
