BULGARIA AND ESTONIA WILL SIGN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT TODAY

Bulgaria and Estonia will sign a free trade agreement on December 11. “Having such agreements with the Baltic countries complies with the Bulgarian foreign policy priorities, experts from the Economy Ministry commented. Estonia has free trade agreements with the EU member states under its 1998 Europe Agreement, with most of the CEFTA countries, the European Free Trade Association and the other two Baltic countries, Litva and Lithuania. The commercial exchange between Estonia and Bulgaria in January-September 2001 was USD 2.95 M with Bulgaria having a 90% surplus of the 2000 trade volume.
