The Bulgarian church in Belgium's capital received a new iconostasis on Easter, the Foreign Ministry announced on Monday.

The new icons were sanctified with a special mass, served by the Most Reverend Simeon, Metropolitan of Central and Western Europe.

The service was attended by Bulgaria's Ambassador to Belgium Emil Vulev, as well as the country's envoys to NATO and the European communities.

The new iconostasis was gifted by the Union of Graduates of His Majesty's Military Schools, and by the Reserve Officers School.
