The Anglo-American School will have its Annual Art Show - a display of surrealistic artwork on the theme of "light and shade"- on April 27 at the gallery "Krug".

"The children work with installations, digital art, photograms, bas-relief and sculptures and make copies of renowned artists- masters of light and shade," says Ms. Mariangela Anastassova, Production Director.

Through their artwork the students seek to differentiate the method of use of light and shade in the artwork of the old masters: Rembrandt, Goya, Turier, George de la Tour, and the impressionists: Monet, Serrat, Van Gogh, Degas. The movement, abstract forms and positions are represented through the children's eyes and the surprise is never ending.

Anglo-American School exists in Bulgaria for more than 35 years, and represents more than 35 nationalities including Bulgaria. The school is fully accredited by the European Council of International Schools in UK and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in USA. It mainly services the international community in Bulgaria.
