BULGARIAN DEMOCRATIC FORUM SIXTH CONGRESS STARTED

After long debates Muravey Radev, former Finance Minister, was elected to chair the 6th Congress of the Bulgarian Democratic Forum, part of the United Democratic Forces (UDF). The Congress opened on December 8 at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. Plamen Ivanov, Chief Secretary of the Union of Democratic Forces, addressed the participants in the Congress and assessed highly the cooperation between the two formations. The formation’s new leadership will be elected on December 9. The delegates are expected to discuss and adopt a new statute of the formation. They consider the social part of their program to be the most important section.
