Politicians from some of Bulgaria's most influential parties came together Monday to put a Sofia garden in repair.

For a few hours, Sofia mayor Stefan Sofanski, Agrarian leader Anastasia Mozer, Socialists Party Deputy Chairman Rumen Ovcharov and colleagues from the ruling Simeon II National Movement (SIINM) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) fled their offices and took their time to repaint the wooden benches in front of the Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Church.

Each group had chosen a different paint colour, in most cases to match their own party's logo.

Thus, the SIINM representatives had some benches glowing in bright yellow, the Socialists did colouring in red, while Mozer was supplied with refreshing orange.

Sofa-based Darik Radio had initiated the repair and provided all necessary materials.
