British director Peter Greenaway will attend the opening ceremony of the 9th edition of Sofia Film Fest.
Geenaway will stay in Bulgaria for 24 hours to see the movie of his compatriot Mike Leigh "Vera Drake" that will mark the opening of the Sofia festival.
During the fest all movie fans in Sofia will be able to see two movies from Greenway's trilogy "The Tulse Luper Suitcases."
"The Tulse Luper Suitcases" reconstructs the life of Tulse Henry Purcell Luper, a professional writer and project -maker, caught up in a life of prisons. His life is reconstructed from the evidence of 92 suitcases found around the world. Greenaway aimed to create an extensive archive of Luper's adventures, the places his visited and the character he met.
