BULGARIA AND CROATIA TO SET UP A FREE TRADE ZONE

Bulgaria and Croatia will set a free trade-zone in 2002, the bilateral agreement signed by Economy Minister Nikolay Vassilev and his Croatian counterpart Gorazko Fizulic envisages. The free trade zone is expected to boost trade between the two countries. Bulgaria’s trade surplus with Croatia for the first three quarters of 2001 amounted to USD 1,04 M, while turnover for the same period stood at USD 4,81 M.
