Evgeny Bakurdzhiev, who was expelled from the Union of Democratic Forces implied that he sees his political future with Sofia mayor Sofianski and Petur Stoyanov, incumbent Bulgarian President whose mandate expires in January. He showed journalists two copies of the National Security Services report, disclosed during the pre-election presidential campaign. It was claimed that Bakurdzhiev’s name was included in the report. Bakurdzhiev said that the report was fabrication of the former Prime Minister Ivan Kostov. He pointed out that none of the names of the people who are famous with being corrupt were not included in the report. Bakurdzhiev was expelled on November 26 for not complying with the UDF decisions and talking in public against them. Bakurdzhiev said that what happens in the Union of the Democratic Forces can be qualified as "communism."
