Bulgaria plans to export 50,000-100,000 tons of wheat till the end of the year, mainly to countries in North Africa. The recent stability in the prices on the domestic wheat market increased the interest of foreign investors. According to Agriculture Ministry 2001 wheat harvest will amount to a 500,000 tons surplus.
