FOREIGN MINISTER TO LOBBY FOR BULGARIA IN NYC

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Passy will pay a working visit to the United States. During his visit to Washington, which starts on December 4, Passy will meet Secretary of State Richard Armitage, Condoleezza Rice, National Security Council Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, Senator Liebermann and other officials. On December 6 the Bulgarian foreign minister will lecture at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies. Before leaving for Washington, a Bulgarian delegation, headed by Passy, will participate in the 9th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE.) The OSCE meeting will take place in Bucharest on December 3-4.
