PRISTA OIL PLANS BUILDING REFINERY IN RUSSE

Russe-based Prista Oil Company, Bulgarian lubricants producer, will invest BGN 10 M in the building of a refinery in the Danube city, Dnevnik Daily wrote. US oil major Texaco owns a 25% stake in the company. The new company building is expected to boost the Bulgarian market of oil products. So far it has been dominated by Burgas-based LUKOIL Neftochim, Bulgaria’s biggest refinery. Bulgaria’s second biggest refinery Plama has been idle for several years following the unsuccessful privatization attempts.
