“A team from the Ministry of Economy will lobby for the attraction of foreign automobile producers to invest in Bulgaria. Highly qualified and comparatively low paid Bulgarian employees coupled with the low taxes are Bulgaria’s advantages, “ Economy Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Vassilev said. He expressed the hope that the leading companies Peugeot, Citroen and Toyota will invest in Bulgaria because of the easy custom’s regulations for export from Bulgaria to the Balkan, EU and CEFTA countries. Vassilev pointed out that he heads a special working group for the Peugeot-Citroen project.
