YUGOSLAV PRESIDENT:I HOPE BG WILL CONTINUE TO BE STABILIZING FACTOR

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Passy and the Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica discussed possibilities for bigger cooperation in the border regions of Bulgaria, Yugoalavia and Romania. The officials defined the construction of the Nis-Sofia highway as extremely important for both countries. The Yugoslav President expressed the hope that Bulgaria will continue to be a stabilizing factor in South Eastern Europe. Foreign Minister Passy invited Kostunica to visit Bulgaria in 2002.
