“Spanish businessmen may invest in the Bulgarian tourism,” Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg said in his address to Bulgarian businessmen and intellectuals in Kurdzali. He visited the Bulgarian town on November 27. “I do not want sun, sea and shopska salad to form the image of Bulgaria abroad,” he added. According to Saxe-Coburg, village tourism should be developed and the country’s archaeology and history should be popularized. The Bulgarian Prime Minister had meetings with the regional governance and the Mayor of Kurdzhali Rumen Dimitrov. The officials discussed the project “ Gorna Arda,” agriculture developments and the possible investments in the region. Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg said that an Italian company showed interest in the Gorna Arda project. He met local people and visited a mosque and a chuch in the town.
