ELECTRONIC MEDIA COUNCIL CHAIR ELECTED

Margarita Pesheva was elected chair of the Council on Electronic Media on November 27. Her opponent was Georgi Lozanov, seven members of the Council voted in favor of Pesheva's candidature. A report on the activities of the National Council for Radio and Television was presented at the meeting. Margatina Pesheva said that one of her main goals will be the working out of a mechanism for collecting subcription fees. In Parliament 211 out of 217 MPs voted for Pesheva's candidature.
