BULGARIAN ISSUE DEPARTMENT RETURNS FOR LAST WEEK

The Issue Department's Total Assets increased by 603.4 million leva in the week ending November 23, according to the weekly return of the National Bank of Bulgaria, BNB. The assets stood at 7,782.3 million leva growing from 7,178.9 million leva last week.

Cash and nostro accounts in foreign currencies grew by about 741.3 million leva during the period under review, reaching 2,911 million on November 23.

Money in circulation decreased by about 24 million leva, from 2,809 million leva to 2,785 million leva.

Tradable foreign securities dropped by 129 million leva, from 4,303 million leva to 4,174 million leva.

The deposits of the Government and of budget-financed organizations, part of the Department's liabilities, grew by about 480 million leva to 2,941 million leva.
