JUPITER INSURANCE SHAREHOLDER WARNS WITHDRAWAL

Jupiter Insurance Company’s main shareholder, Austrian Garant-Vienna, insist that the insurance company improve its financial performance by the end of 2001. In case the company’s management fails to do this, Garant will no longer have shares in Jupiter. Michael Chernoy, the Russian businessman who was expelled from Bulgaria, is said to be behind Garant company. Wiener Stadische, Austrian second-largest insurance company, is reportedly conducting legal and financial analysis on Jupiter. Wiener Stadische is also said to be the candidate buyer of Garant shares in Jupiter.
