PROTESTERS TO TABLE ARGUMENTS AGAINST HIGHER EXCISE DUTY IN PARLIAMENT

MPs from the parliamentary committees of economy and budget and finance will meet representatives of the organizations, protesting against the introduction of excise duties on propane-butane today. The meeting will be held in the Parliament building. The participants will prepare a statement to be presented to the committees. The committees will discuss this statement on November 28. Representatives of industry organizations like the national Union of Transportation Companies and the Association of Petrol and Gas Companies will participate in the event. The voting of the Excise Duties Act is scheduled for November 30.
