A world of light and beautiful natural landscapes reveals the exhibition of Bulgarian artist Yanko Yanev, which opened doors to art connoisseurs at the House of Architects gallery in Sofia.

The delicate watercolors favour more traditional approach to art making, while others, like "Sensation of Time" are emotionally charged, abstract paintings, yet all of them distinctively poured in light.

Considered to be a master of the watercolor technique, Yanev's landscapes are well-know to both the wide public in Bulgaria and abroad, mainly though his reproductions.

The main theme is nature's light, as perceived along the coastline, in the mountains or in the expression of a young girl's face.

A painting of his was presented on porcelain to Prince Charles during his visit to Bulgaria in March last year.

Yanev's works will be on display at the House of Architects gallery in Sofia till December 12.
