THE NETHERLANDS WILL CONTINUE INVESTING IN BULGARIA

Baroness Henriette van Lynden, Dutch Ambassador to Bulgaria, visited the Black Sea resort of Albena and the village of Batovo on November 23.According to Ambassador van Lynden the government of the Netherlands plans to continue its investments in Bulgarian transport, tourism, environment and communication technologies. The refurbished hothouse of Sunny Greens, a Bulgarian-Dutch joint venture, was opened by the Dutch Ambassador. The Dutch government has financed a total of thirty projects in Bulgaria worth BGN 17 M. Dutch investors are particularly interested in Dobrich and Varna areas. New projects for Dutch financing are expected to be approved and realized in 2002.
