Most probably the strategy for faster EU accession will be ready by the beginning of next year, the Chief Negotiator with the European Union Meglena Kuneva said. She added that there is a great possibility that Bulgaria opens all EU accession chapters by the end of 2002 instead of by the end of 2003 as envisaged. The economic growth is envisaged to be in the range of 4,5% - 5%, GDP will be in the range of 8%-10%. Gradual increase of the excise duties is set in the program.
