INDONESIANS ALSO TO BID FOR VARNA SHIPYARD

Indonesian company will bid Varna shipyard and has already informed the Bulgarian government about its intentions, former mayor of Varna Hristo Kirchev, now MP of the UDF, said. The company's president had reportedly complained before him that vice-premier Nikolay Vassilev didn't response thoroughly to their offer. This is the seventh company to show interest in the shipyard. Swedish 'Fisson Invest - AB', Greek 'Kiriakou Group', German 'Odendorf', Norwegian 'Cleven Holding', 'Hogan Marine' and unspecified Bulgarian consortium, had submitted business plans to the Economy Ministry. Meanwhile, today expires the dead-line, given by the employees to the government as to resolve the faith of the venture. 'If it's not to happen, we will start protests,' the workers warned a month ago.
