GALLUP: 40% OF PARVANOV'S SUPPORTERS ARE YOUNG

39%-40% of the Bulgarians who chose that their new President will be Georgi Parvanov are in the age range 18-30, sociological agency Gallup data show. According to sociologists at the presidential elections, the typical confrontation communism – anti-communism lacked. Gallup expert commented that 40%-45% of the votes that Parvanov garnered were votes from Bulgarian Socialist Party members. The rest of the people who supported Parvanov belong to other social groups. An Alpha research survey shows that 70,9% from the students voted for Stoyanov, 29,1% supported Parvanov. 55,8% of the working people favored Stoyanov, 44,2% voted for Parvanov. 68,8% of the businessmen supported Stoyanov while 31,2% favored his opponent. 48,1% of the unemployed voted for Stoyanov, 51,9% of them voted for Parvanov.
