A nine-year old Turkish girl Alana Dogan is among the people who died during the bloody end to a hostage-taking at a school in southern Russia.

Media reported that Turkish officials have expressed their condolences to the family of the girl.

Alana, her mother and her one-year old Milena sister were taken hostage along with the other 1,000 people on September 1. The mother Anetta Gadiava Dogan, with Turkish citizenship, and the little baby were released on Wednesday along with another 24 women and children held hostages for a day in North Ossetia's town of Beslan.

The 9-aged daughter of the Turkish woman was forced to stay in the school.
